SPOP 万岁! @ Eastpoint

Havent seen PSS CSS for a while, so me been a superfan (or should i say EX super fan?) Took time out to see them sing original compositions from the SPOP Songwriting competition.

Good weather, nice stage.

BUT something really turned me OFF.

The audience.

While the whole shopping mall is SUPER cold (i can understand afterall nothing shines more than Jay Chou who is in SG for concert), I (and i believe the rest in the mall who's watching this would agree 97%) think that guy really anti-climax the whole show.

Well, I'm not critisizing him or anything. But cheer at the RIGHT time at the RIGHT volume. I wouldn't be surprised, but everyone is looking at HIM. Laughing at HIM. Even the singers got a traumatizing time (i believe)... but they appear to be ok, that's good...

I wouldn't disclose something i already knew about that guy to the mass audience out there. Or maybe i PRESUMED. Shall keep it secret, and don't you EVER say 是某某人讲的...

OK, enough about that guy.

Back to the concert itself, the whole atmosphere is simply a dramatic contrast to the glamourous days of PSS & CSS.

Even the least popular contestants then gets cheers.

Now, the most popular one gets the cheers that is so mediocre that i started to even wonder if 33.33333333% of the shopping mall watching the show knows about the singers AT ALL.

6 words: 今时不同往日。(edit: or maybe the fever has gone down.) =(

No offence, but the market may be overwelmed with too much good talents. Overloaded.

Nonetheless, to the bright side, i really believe that good talents (the songwriters and the singers) should be given more chances to show off to the mass media or even asia that they are capable and are the materials of making it big. There IS room to make these stars BIG.

Will support them 4ever!
铿百! 佳盈! 灵伊! 俊玮! 文海! 乐声! 迪雅!..............

... and continue to support them like in the competition days too =)
